What is a communicative organization?
Having worked as the head of a corporate communications division for a medium-sized organization, working toward building stronger communication practices for the company was always at the back of my mind whenever we developed new programs. But, really, what is a communicative organization?
- Is it one that has a great communications team? Or a leader that is natural and effective with his/her communications?
- Is it one that knows communication is everyone’s responsibility?
- Is it one where collaboration and content sharing is a natural part of the workday and, as a result, formal communication is more the exception than the norm?
I believe it is all these things.
